For our decaf lovers, we take pride in roasting only Swiss Water Processed decaf, the premier chemical-free method that aligns with our promise of natural purity and exceptional flavor. The Story
Has Beans Coffee and Tea was first established in San Francisco. It was 1976 and “The City” was famous for their coffee culture in the cafés and bookstores around Columbus Ave and Washington Square, known as little Italy. Over the years, Has Beans has moved our roasting facility twice and is currently located in Chico, California.
Quality and consistency at an affordable price has always been our goal. We source the best possible green beans from most, if not all, coffee regions of the world. We slow roast our beans to perfection in our traditional open flame drum roaster. We keep the best for single origin roasts and blend them in our award winning Espresso Blend among others.
We have focused on wholesaling our coffee and related products, in an effort to supply and support cafés, restaurants, coffee houses, markets, and other businesses who want to serve the best possible coffee to their customers. We contact our customers weekly, roast to order, and ship within 24 hours to guarantee our customer the best product in freshness and taste. We provide continued support with ongoing training and keeping our customers up to date with new trends in the coffee industry.
Organic is a core tenant of our mission to deliver the highest quality coffee to our customers. We offer a large variety of organic coffee origins today which all started with our award winning Organic House Blend in the early 90’s. We have been Certified Organic since certifications began in the year 2000.

The Has Beans Creekside Café seeks to offer a venue where our local community can come to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of our award winning coffee or get their hands on a bag of our freshly roasted beans. With an inviting outdoor patio shaded by old growth trees and colored by the fresh blossoms of flowers in the spring it's a delightful place to connect with friends or sample our variety of coffee, freshly baked pastries and delicious breakfast options.
Our Café is conveniently located next to our roasting facility on Humboldt Ave, just across from Little Chico Creek and the historic Chapmantown District.
